Embassy of Japan - Scholarship for Teachers in Ghana

Education is the key to every nation's development. Countries with weak institutions suffer from indiscipline and under-development in human population. One way to ensure powerful and discipline institutions is the relevance of education. Let me introduce teachers as the basic trainers for development. The pedagogical skills of every teacher is the bone of content for building a nation. Our interest for change in attitude and development brings to you  the above subject line "scholarship for teachers".

JAPANESE GOVERNMENT: SCHOLARSHIP FOR TEACHERS

ATTN.:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ghanaian applicants for the above-mentioned scholarship in Japan from October 2016. The scholarship is for teachers who wish to study in a Japanese university for professional improvement.
 
Who is eligible for the scholarship? To stay focus on who can apply , the applicant must be;

(A)    A Ghanaian National residing in Ghana

(B)   Under the age of 35 as of 1 April 2016 (born on or after 2 April 1981)

(C)  Graduate degree from universities or teacher training colleges with a total mark of second class upper division or higher

(D)  Teaching experience for at least five years in elementary, junior high, senior high schools or in teacher training schools in Ghana

(E)   Willingness to learn the Japanese language and have the ability to do research in Japanese

(F)   Availability on arriving in Japan by October 2016
